Mr. STAFFORD moved, For a return of the names of all persons who have been drowned in in any river or stream in New Zealand to srve as a reminder that steps should be taken to prevent, in future, that lamentable loss of life which had occurred in New Zealand for want of bridges.

Legislation authorising establishment of District Roads Boards, Highways Boards and Native Districts Roads Boards. Introduces special roading rates and lighting rates.
SCHEME for the Distribution of 50,000 pounds among the Road Boards of the various Provinces, and the County of Westland, as proposed by the Superintendents of the several Provinces, and the Chairman of the County Council.
